This role requires great reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

A passion for service is crucial for this role as most service and hospitality positions will require you to be in a fast-paced environment. If you are considering working in a restaurant, hotel, or an event location, the Hospitality programme will be a good match for you. As Merchandisers, you will be responsible for the thorough presentation of the of the store and positioning of the products, maintaining the necessary quantity of goods in the store, and performing the actions aimed at the promotion of goods. This role requires creativity, excellent organizational skills, and an interest in the retail business.
Stipend Details
The participants of the programme will receive an average stipend of R5,500 – R7,000. This stipend will go towards covering the cost of living while building necessary work skills, in order for them to focus their efforts on skills development and working positively in their assigned roles.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants of the NYD Programme Drive X500 – 2026 Intake must have the following to be considered:
✔️ Grade 10, Grade 12, or N3, or
✔️ Any other relevant qualification.
