The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) invites suitably qualified South African candidates to apply for the Finance Clerk positions (2 posts) at their Head Office in Pretoria.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Competency in acting independently, professionally, accountably, and with credibility
  • Basic numeracy and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional Knowledge

  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • Experience in financial accounting (supplier payments, S&T and cellphone claims)
  • Familiarity with PERSAL, BAS, or LOGIS systems

Key Duties

  • Support financial accounting functions
  • Manage payment registers and verify invoice accuracy
  • Capture and process supplier payments including subsistence & travel (S&T) and cellphone claims
  • Scan and file payment records and financial documents
  • Track supplier payments
  • Provide support to auditors and handle payment queries
