Learnerships’ Description
MTN South Africa is inviting people interested in technology for its Learnership Programme for 2025 / 2026. This program is specially designed to offer young people skills as well as work experience, certification, and the tools necessary to succeed professionally in the telecommunication business, along with the practical experience pertinent to the field.
Networking and ease of mobility is a dominant factors in the region, therefore, an opportunity is afforded to learn and acquire skills which in the 21st Century are highly valued within the digital ecosystem.
What the Learnership Offers
- nationally recognized qualification (NQF Level 4-6 depending qualification)
- 12-24 month fixed-term contract

Fields Available MTN has learnerships in the following fields:
- Information & Communications Technology (ICT)
- Sales & Marketing
- Customer Service & Call Centre Operations
- Business Administration
- Project Management
- Network Engineering & Support
- Financial Management
Minimum Requirements To qualify, applicants must:
- be a South African citizen
- be in the age group of 18 to 35
- possess a Grade 12 / Matric certificate (higher certifications are to the advantage)
- be unemployed at the time of application
- possess strong communication skills
- be willing and ready to learn
- not be engaged in another learnership or internship
Preferred Qualities
- strong interest in digital and mobile technology
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.
- strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- align to the values of the organization to be able to finish the full length of the programme
