This fully funded programme is designed to equip learners with job-ready skills in high-demand trades.

About the Programme
This training opportunity is focused on the Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL), which allows individuals with 3+ years of relevant work experience (formal or informal) to qualify as artisans through a shortened process. Successful candidates may write a national trade test and potentially obtain a recognised artisan qualification.

You can apply for training in one of the following fields:
- Mechanical Fitter
- Millwright
- Boilermaker
- Electrician
- Welder
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed Grade 9 or equivalent (technical subjects advantageous)
- Show a strong interest in the selected trade (minimum of 3 years)
- Be currently unemployed and available for full-time training
